Using focused business strategies I strive to build sustainable relationships with our customers, I work towards driving profitable business models in communicating with our market. I measure and track return on investments (ROI) for our marketing campaigns. I am responsible for the CRM database, the consumer website, our consumer contact center, and the roll-out of our integrated retail program.

My Network Communications Management degree gave me the foundation to understand, apply and work on the technology side of the business. It provided the perfect support to my communication skills and marketing background, clearly giving me the edge over other candidates. It has allowed me to sustain and grow in my career by delivering knowledge and expertise that was simply nonexistent before I graduated from DeVry.

I believe that, if DeVry alumni were to seriously network, our access to opportunities would be as strong as that of the Kennedy School of Government in federal government circles. By tapping into the DeVry brand, by being proud of who we are and what we've accomplished, the value of a DeVry degree will grow dramatically. I want that to happen and that requires a cultural shift in our thinking. That shift needs to begin with me working towards change.

I have a history of volunteering at the church and community level. While my children were young and still in school, I was an active Cub Master for one of the largest packs in Cook County. Later, I became a Boy Scout Leader. I also was an active member on their grade school technology committee which wired their classrooms for Internet access.

Today, I am a Eucharistic Minister for my local church. I also do volunteer work associated with the hospital and in my community. In addition to now serving on DeVry's Alumni Association Advisory Board, I also sit on the DeVry University Education Fund Board where we identify candidates and award scholarships to deserving DeVry students.
